Can vendors upgrade or switch their membership plans?

Yes. When a vendor purchases a new duration plan, the new tier overrides the existing subscription schedule upon successful authorization, updating their billing cycle and tenant parameters.

What happens when a subscription expires or fails to renew?

If a vendor's subscription expires or automated billing fails, their membership status transitions to Expired. Once expired, standard marketplace commission deductions automatically resume for all subsequent orders until the subscription is renewed.

Can the marketplace administrator assign free or complimentary subscriptions?

Yes. Administrators can navigate to Marketplace Management > Manage Seller, select the target vendors, and use the mass action Assign a Membership Plan to grant membership privileges directly without requiring payment gateway checkout.

Is Hyvä Theme supported?

Yes. The extension offers full compatibility with Hyvä frontend themes through the dedicated companion package Webkul_MpSaasHyva.

Can vendors retain their existing custom domains (e.g., brand.com instead of a subdomain)?

The base module provisions wildcard subdomains (e.g., vendor.marketplace.com). For fully custom root domain mapping, please consult Webkul support for custom enterprise routing integrations.
